Join Sonoran Institute and artist, Maria Renée, along the Santa Cruz River for a sketching workshop and original artwork unveiling by Maria. Participants will learn about the Santa Cruz, be guided to hone their observation skills of the natural landscape, identify a composition, practice various drawing techniques, and create work inspired directly from the river. Adults only, any skill level is welcome, some materials will be provided; registration is capped at 35. All participants will be asked to submit one of their drawings to Sonoran Institute for future use in community works. |
