Katie James, APR, is an accredited and award-winning public relations practitioner currently serving as a public relations strategist for Lessing-Flynn, a full-service marketing agency located in Des Moines.

From her time as an agricultural journalist working both behind and in front of the camera, to public relations manager for the Iowa Soybean Association coaching hundreds of farmers through high-value interview opportunities, Katie was poised to lead the PR function for Lessing-Flynn’s diverse client roster.

With more than a decade of experience working on the frontlines of agricultural communications, the Iowa State University graduate is passionate about infusing organizational strategy into all communications tactics, keeping both authenticity and business goals top of mind.

Content Strategist, Meyocks

Dan McCue is a digital storyteller. As a Content Strategist at Meyocks, Dan works with clients to tell their stories in ways that help their businesses mean more, benefitting the bottom line.

Dan received a bachelor’s degree from Hope College and a Master’s degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He’s old enough to remember a time before the internet, but young enough to try AI. Over the past 15 years, he’s worked in digital marketing roles at Grinnell College, Grinnell Mutual, and Meyocks, among others.

Dan, his spouse, and their three kids live in Grinnell, Iowa. Each winter, they build a backyard skating rink. If he’s not on the ice, you might find him making music.
