The Narrative Structure “Flash-Workshop” Series will be led by author, screenwriter, and narrative coordination UNC Chapel Hill Senior, Ian Jones.
The workshops are intended for beginning/intermediate narratively inspired teenagers and adults aged 13+. To prioritize quality small-group discussions and intimate feedback, workshops are limited to 10 students each.
Workshop 1 will focus on novel structure. Topics will include: Save the Cat vs. Hero's Journey, crafting a collective group story from idea to outline, individual writing time and feedback, and a group critique of individual work. |
