This course introduces the prophetic books of the Old Testament/ Hebrew Bible (Isaiah, Jeremiah, Hosea, Amos, et al.). Special attention is given to historical, literary, and theological issues pertinent to prophecy.
Reading and exegeting scriptural texts for contemporary ministry are of central import. |
