We provide a working knowledge and understanding of accounting principles to help managers, entrepreneurs, and their assistants properly account for federal funds (contracts & grants), tribal funds, and other sources of income. Participants will learn how to organize the accounting system for their program, customize the chart of accounts, set up customers and vendors, properly post income, income, assets, expenses, and obligations. We teach the bank reconciliation process, how to set up & accommodate travel advances, and how to generate customized financial reports & prepare for audits. |
