Misunderstanding and myths related to suicide risk among incarcerated individuals--and how to best assess that risk--continue to exist. This 6-hour course is highly-interactive and covers 10 key issues you should be aware of if you assess suicide risk in a correctional setting or supervise others who do. The training focuses on standard of care and best practices—to help save lives as well as reduce the risk of litigation. Current controversies in suicide risk assessment will be discussed and lessons learned from correctional suicide lawsuits will be highlighted. |
