2025 Capitol Cast Youth Fishing Days Youth and Family Invitation

Join us at TIDAL BASIN to catch a fish!

Free fishing for youth at Tidal Basin on June 5th - 6th 2025. 2 days of free fishing and angler education for area youth. Disabled, local and visiting youth are all welcome to come catch a fish at the Capitol. 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM daily. Parent or guardian must accompany youth under 16. Open to all from ages 4 to 18 years old.

• Kids ages 8-16 - All skill levels welcome - No prior fishing experience needed - Free event for local youth

What We Offer:

• Professional fishing instructors - All fishing equipment provided - Safety-first approach - Fun learning environment - Adaptive support for all abilities

• Learn basic fishing techniques - Discover water safety skills - Explore environmental awareness - Build confidence - Make new friends
