WTS Charlotte Metro Lunch and Learn - Supporting Columbia's Growth with the Assembly Street Railroad

The WTS Charlotte Metro Chapter is pleased to host Katie Curry, AICP and Joe Olson, PE, who will be presenting on the Assembly Street Railroad Separation project in Columbia, SC, on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. Despite the project's importance, it has faced significant challenges preventing final design and construction including stakeholder fatigue, project champion transitions and funding difficulties. STV has developed innovative engineering designs to consolidate and eliminate the existing freight rail/roadway at-grade crossings through the densely developed downtown Columbia project area.
