The Anti-Racist Community Network (ARCN) presents:

250 Years of White Supremacy:

Moore Steps - Drafting a Bill of Responsibilities

with Dr. Eddie Moore, Jr.

Wednesday, August 12, 2026, 4:00-5:30pm PT, 7:00-8:30pm ET

Dr. Eddie Moore Jr, founder of the White Privilege Conference, will facilitate another conversation unpacking the meaning of the 250th anniversary for antiracists. We are inspired by Doug Paxton’s May 9 essay on LinkedIn, The 250th 4th of July: An Invitation to Action. Doug references Robin Wall Kimmerer’s proposal that people “create a corresponding "Bill of Responsibilities," to provide a personal investment and action-oriented counterpoint to our traditional focus on a "Bill of Rights."” You can read more about Doug’s description of a Bill of Responsibilities below.

In this conversation, we’ll marry the idea of crafting a Bill of Responsibilities to the 21-DAY RACIAL EQUITY HABIT BUILDING CHALLENGE©, which supports effective social justice change. In small and large groups, we’ll brainstorm several points of our Bill of Responsibilities, and identify related actions to carry out over a period of 21 days. As Doug Paxton asks, What commitments can I/we make to be better citizens?

Let’s talk! And let’s partner for racial justice action!
