| Mindful Self-Compassion Short Course (MSC-SC) is an empirically supported 9-hour, 6-session psychoeducational group intervention that teaches how to treat ourselves like our friends. Offering mindfulness, self-kindness, and a common sense of humanity, MSC-Short Course enhances feelings of well-being, balance, and positivity during every day and the most challenging moments in life. Created by Dr. Kristin Neff and Dr. Christopher Germer, the MSC-Short Course offers adults the opportunity to cultivate compassion and lovingkindness toward themselves when suffering occurs through informal mindfulness and mindful self-compassion practices. Who should attend this workshop? Anyone interested in exploring and strengthening their relationship with themselves and building emotional strength and resilience through cultivating kindness and self-compassion would benefit from attending this program.
