TBRI® Caregiver Training

TBRI® Caregiver Training is an attachment-based, evidence-based, and trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. It is designed to provide parents, caregivers, and professionals tools, such as Empowering Principles to address physical needs, Connecting Principles for attachment needs, and Correcting Principles to disarm fear-based behaviors. Fridays, March 27 - May 8, 2026, from 1-3pm EST (no class 4/3). This training is not recorded. Available to everyone everywhere. May be applied towards annual foster parent training requirements.

TBRI® is an attachment-based, evidence-based, and trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. TBRI® uses Empowering Principles to address physical needs, Connecting Principles for attachment needs, and Correcting Principles to disarm fear-based behaviors. The TBRI® Caregiver Training is designed for TBRI® Practitioners to train caregivers, broadly speaking, within their organization in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®), equipping staff/caregivers with the skills and tools needed to be successful in their various roles. This training is for parents, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals who work with children. This training will not be recorded.


The TBRI® Caregiver Training offers training on 4 TBRI® topics:

1) Introduction & Overview – a TBRI® primer

2) Connecting Principles – address attachment needs

3) Empowering Principles – address physical needs

4) Correcting Principles – address fear-based behaviors

Cost: $ 159 single or couple (early-bird until March 9, 2026) then $179 // social workers may add a client for $79.00


Continuing Education:i

Twelve (12) ($25) Continuing Education hours are available through Florida CEBrokers for Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Licensed Mental Health Counselors, and Certified Master Social Workers. Florida Certification Board recognizes this training for mental health and child welfare.

TBRI® Practitioner:

Melannie Webster


Melannie Webster is a compassionate and dedicated individual with a degree in early childhood education and a pursuit of a master's in psychology. As a certified Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner and MSOYW facilitator through the Halo Project, she is passionate about supporting children who have experienced trauma and helping parents/caregivers navigate the challenges of early childhood trauma. Melannie also serves as a Church ambassador in Circuit 14 for Care Portal through Heart of the Bride and has participated in training such as FASCETS. Her personal journey as an adoptive parent has inspired her mission to create a positive impact in the lives of families through understanding, empathy, and nurturing care.
