This class covers the six steps it takes to create the traditional octagonal cane weave, binding to finish the top and tying off the bottom pieces. The chair needs to have drilled holes around the seat frame for this weaving technique. This 5-day session may have homework to do between classes. Please have any repairs done before class. Tools to bring: Scissors, sponge, small bucket, flexible measuring tape, handful of clothes pins or twist ties, paper & pen.
