This three-hour program aims to increase response and knowledge of health care professionals related to substance use disorders and pregnancy to improve medical outcomes. Learn to identify social determinants of health that impact people with perinatal substance use disorder and create barriers to prenatal care. Understand how drugs affect a developing fetus, common challenges for people in addiction recovery and what treatments work best for both mom and fetus. Local resources for treatment will be identified and shared. |
