When & Where: Saturday, October 10th, 2026 | 10:00am - 1:00pm Please meet at the northern parking lot within Wallace Marine Park (200 Glen Creek Road NW), just past the softball fields (see map on right). We'll have trained cleanup leaders on site to check volunteers in, distribute cleanup supplies, and provide a group safety briefing.
What to Bring:
- Sturdy, closed-toe shoes that you are comfortable getting dirty and wet.
- Sunscreen, drinking water, and layers that are appropriate for the weather.
Additional Details:
- Willamette Riverkeeper and our partners will provide all necessary cleanup equipment and PPE for this event (trash bags, gloves, grabbers, etc).
- No previous experience is necessary to volunteer for this event – we will conduct a thorough safety briefing and cleanup training at the start of the day.
- We recommend that all participants in this event be above the age of 14 – if you have questions or concerns about bringing along a younger volunteer, please reach out to us via email.
- Restrooms will be available on site for volunteers.
