Leading for Longevity

We are excited to bring Main Street America’s Leading for Longevity workshop to Gadsden — a leadership experience designed for communities, board members, and partners.

Jonathan Stone is a Program Officer with Main Street America. He brings more than 20 years of experience in design, economic vitality, and nonprofit leadership, helping communities strengthen local economies and build lasting organizational capacity.

 

Before joining Main Street America, Jonathan served as Executive Director of the Downtown Oregon City Association, leading the program to earn the Great American Main Street Award and being named Main Street Manager of the Year in Oregon. He also directed Creative Flagstaff, integrating arts, culture, and community development into broader economic vitality strategies.

 

With degrees in business and architecture, Jonathan combines strategic thinking with practical implementation. He works with local leaders, elected officials, and boards to sharpen strategy, strengthen partnerships, and advance sustainable, community-driven revitalization.
