The Houston-Galveston Area Council is hosting a 3-part roundtable/workshop series on Exploring Community-Conscious Planning Practices.
The first roundtable is Discussing the Power of Dynamic Engagement.
Participants will learn about diversity in our region, and explore the impact of engagement choices, including imagery, community spaces, engaging environments, word choice, and accommodations. Participants will share best practices and lessons learned for better engagement in communities they work with as better engagement leads to a better understanding of the needs of the community. |
