Answer: Counselors, Transfer Center Directors, Deans, Umoja Coordinators, Puente Coordinators, A2MEND Charter Advisors, staff/administrators committed to Black Student Success. 

Question: What airport should I fly to? 

Answer: Charlotte Douglas International Airport 

Question: When should I arrive?  

Answer: All participants please arrive on June 11th at the start of the conference. Arrival prior to June 11th is not guaranteed at the hotel group rate.  

Question: Is lodging available at the conference hotel? 

Answer: Yes, a block of rooms are available on a first come first serve basis at a rate of $219 per night at the Hilton Charlotte Uptown. The deadline to reserve your room is March 31, 2024. Arrival prior to June 11th is not guaranteed at the group rate. The room block is not yet available, the reservation link will be posted here when it becomes available.

Questions: Are meals included? 

Answer: All meals are included, except dinners. Dining is available onsite at the conference hotel. For local restaurants and activities, see hotel website here (include link). 

Question: Parking 

Answer: Parking will be $19 per day.  

Question: What should I bring? 

Answer: Something for notetaking (laptop, or notebook). Your creative thinking! Conference attire is business casual. Please check the weather. Comfortable walking shoes for HBCU Tours. 

Question: Will transportation be provided for the HBCU Tours? 

Answer: Yes, pick-up location will be at the conference hotel. A CCC to HBCU team member will accompany the tour group. 

Question: Will transportation be provided to/from the airport? 

Answer: No, transportation to/from airport and conference hotel is at your expense.
