| WHAT: Join Willamette Riverkeeper and the City of Eugene for an on-land cleanup effort as part of the 2025 Great Willamette Cleanup, starting at Maurie Jacobs Park and working our way to Owosso Bridge, including the River Road and Delta Ponds areas on both sides of the river. Grab your walking shoes and get dirty for good! Afterwards, enjoy a volunteer appreciation party at Alton Baker Park (Eugene) at 1:30PM in the main large shelter.
WHEN & WHERE: Saturday, October 4, 2025 | 10AM - 1PM Meet at Maurie Jacobs Park. Park in the lot at the end of Fir Lane, which is the first right after Railroad intersection (1st Ave.) off River Road heading north. Street parking access from the Whittaker neighborhood is also available. We will gather together on the south side of the Valley River Footbridge to begin our cleanup
DETAILS: Please be on time! We will get started at 10AM beginning with a safety briefing and clean up plan. Please dress for the weather, bring water, sunglasses, and wear sturdy closed-toe shoes. Willamette Riverkeeper will provide trash bags, gloves, and trash grabbers.
