| In celebration of your Legacy family, the Shippensburg University Alumni Relations Office offers complimentary reserved bleacher seats in our special Legacy section! WHAT IS A LEGACY & IS THAT ME? The Shippensburg University Legacy Program was designed to recognize the commitment of its alumni to their alma mater who support and encourage their children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins, and siblings to consider Shippensburg University for their higher education. A legacy student is defined as an individual whose parent, grandparent, sibling, aunt or uncle received a degree from Ship. Read more on the Legacy Program. WHAT IS THE BENEFIT? No need to arrive when the doors open at 9:00AM to claim seats; this benefit provides you with reserved seats. However, you must arrive by 10:15AM. After 10:15AM, seating held for Legacy families will be released for general seating. Please allow time for traffic and parking. WHERE ARE THE SEATS? Seats will be located in the bleachers (stairs required, no backs). The bleacher side is dependent on your graduating student's major. HOW MANY SEATS DO WE GET? We will reserve up to 8 seats per graduating student in our Legacy section. HOW WILL WE RECEIVE OUR TICKETS? You will be mailed reserved Legacy seating tickets to the address you provide at registration. Your bleacher row will have RESERVED and YOUR NAME on the row/spaces reserved for you. WHEN IS THE DEADLINE TO REGISTER? You must register by December 2 to obtain Legacy seating. Participation in the Legacy Family seating section is optional. |
