100-mile - 8:00 - 8:30 a.m.

60-mile - 8:30 - 9:00 a.m.

40-mile - 9:00 - 9:30 a.m.

25-mile - 9:30 - 10:00 a.m. 

Due to sunlight safety issues, plan to arrive no earlier than 7:15 a.m. on 10/26.

Landowners graciously open properties for rest stops/lunch. [Please no cars at lunch]


Rest stops stocked with beverages, snacks, toilets and open on published schedule. If you reach a stop before or after its scheduled time, service may not be available. [Schedule will be posted]


Tour is on paved public roads, except driveways leading to rest stops/lunch and some parking areas. 


Directional arrows painted on right edge of pavement at all public road intersections.  


Support and Gear (SAG):

Professional service available at start and lunch stop. Several marked vehicles ride routes & available all day to assist riders. 


Police/Rescue Squads aware of tour routes.

  • If you have an emergency, call 911 ASAP.
  • If you need assistance on tour, contact personnel at any stop and SAG support.

FRIDAY FUN RIDE 10/25

CHECK IN 3:30pm

Departing promptly at 4pm


MEET: Exmore Moose Lodge located at 15315 Merry Cat Lane, Belle Haven, VA 23306

  • Please park in the back on the right side of the parking lot. (Bathrooms available.)
  • Ride is approximately 13 miles and should end no later than 5:30PM
  • No maps, just follow-the-leader fun. Experienced local guide, Sue Rice.

The Moose Lodge is 14 miles (20 minutes by car) from the Historic Onancock School and riders should easily be able to enjoy both the fun ride and the Pedal and Pour event.

Historic Onancock School & Mallards at the Wharf are teaming up to welcome BTW Bike Tour cyclists. Kick off your cycling weekend Friday with a wine pairing at HOS from 3-7 pm at the CBES BTW Pre-registration. Pick up your Tour info and join in the fun, right there!

Savor a red, a white, and a bubbly, each paired with a delicious appetizer prepared by Mallards, as well as a wine & beer cash bar.

Held in the Gallery where you will be surrounded by stunning regional art.
