Based on Robert Cialdini’s best-seller, “Influence,” this presentation is all about using persuasion strategies to help prospects convert to clients. Evan will reveal his playbook of how he used these strategies to mor e than triple the AUM of his former firm. He will cover everything you need to know about how to turn your prospects into clients.


Evan is a practitioner, first. He knows what works for clients and firms because he has lived it first hand. As the partner responsible for firm growth, Evan brought his former RIA from less than $300MM in AUM to over $1B in AUM in just six years using only organic growth strategies. He uses the firm he founded, Exit 59 advisory, as a lab to test academic research in practice.  Evan has delivered over 500 live presentations to consumers and financial professionals. He speaks, consults and writes on the topics of practice management, growth and service.  


Evan is a special topics instructor in the financial planning program at Texas Tech University, a regular contributor to the Journal of Financial Planning and the Kitces blog. His work has been listed on the all-time “best of” Kitces posts. 

Alan Lennick, CFP®, BFATM


Using Behavioral Finance to Navigate the Wealth Management Evolution


Alan Lennick is a natural think2performer. He has used think2perform tools his entire life, and in so doing has helped thousands of people make better decisions and achieve their personal and professional goals. Before joining think2perform Alan spent more than 20 years in the financial services industry as a financial advisor, field leader, and a corporate executive. He has a passion and proven track record for developing high performing leaders and teams.

 

Alan studied acting in college, and he received the Ava Greenwald Award as outstanding graduating actor at the University of Southern California. Alan leverages his executive experience and background in performing arts to help his clients tap into the art and science of human behavior and optimal performance.

 

As an actor and vocalist, Alan has performed internationally both on stage and in film. As a financial professional, Alan began his career with American Express Financial Advisors (now Ameriprise) as an advisor in New York City. Upon relocating to Minneapolis, he became a partner at Schubert, Kumagai, Lennick and Associates, an Ameriprise franchise. Alan subsequently moved into field leadership with Ameriprise and was consistently a national leader with three different Twin Cities branch offices before becoming a national leading Complex Director in Southern California. Alan later joined HilltopSecurities where he served in multiple executive roles. He led the highest producing region as the Regional Director of the West Coast, and served nationally as the Senior Vice President of Practice Management, leading the rollout and implementation of advice consulting for a fee, for both the Private Client Group and the Independent Network. Alan returned to the Twin Cities as he moved into the role of Senior Managing Director, leading the Western half of the US for the Private Client Group.

 

Alan is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional (CFP), and Behavioral Financial Advice certificant (BF). He graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in theatre.

Kristy brings a heart for service and over 20 years of expertise in the senior living industry. She spent a decade as a senior leader for one of the nation’s top five senior living organizations. Kristy also served as Vice President at WellAware Systems, where she helped advance remote sensor technology to detect pre-emerging health conditions in senior living residents. Additionally, as VP of Operational Excellence at EmpowerMe Wellness, she played a pivotal role in delivering ancillary services to over 1,000 communities across 40 states, enhancing continuity of care for those in senior living.


Ginger brings more than 25 years of corporate leadership experience, coupled with personal insight as a long-distance caregiver for her mother, with memory impairment. Her firsthand experience navigating the complexities of finding the right senior living community for a loved one gives her a unique perspective and deep empathy for families facing similar challenges.
