Tuesdays@2: A Deep Dive into the Ohio Advocate Network and Registered Advocate Credentialling

Join the Ohio Domestic Violence Network and the Ohio Advocate Network to learn more about the Registered Advocate credentialling process for Ohio advocates. In this training, participants will learn about the history of the Ohio Advocate Network (OAN) and its role in overseeing the victim advocate credentialling process in Ohio. Presenters from the OAN Committee will review the steps of the application process to become a Registered Advocate, including updates to eligibility requirements and training pre-requisites. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the value and legitimacy the credential brings to the victim advocacy field.


This training is appropriate for new and seasoned advocates who are interested in learning more about the application and renewal process for being a Registered Advocate.
