We are delighted to welcome James Rhee as the featured speaker for the Emerson Leadership Institute’s Leadership Speaker Series. James Rhee is a renowned Harvard College and Harvard Law graduate, educator, author, private equity investor, past corporate CEO, and recent opera producer. He is Trustee of the National Humanities Center, Artist-in-Residence at Yale Ventures, a much sought-after international speaker, and mentor. His highly acclaimed book, Red Helicopter, has been called a “transformative experience” to help you lead in business, civic, and personal life – with integrity, agility, courage, and compassion.
Under the theme “Leading Change with Kindness (plus a little math),” James will be joined by Ruth Kim (former General Counsel, Sr. VP & Sr. Partner, FleishmanHillard) and Yvonne Park (former President, FleishmanHillard Korea; President and Founder, y’s partners) for a fireside chat, through enlightening and at times surprising stories, exploring James’ remarkable journey, the Red Helicopter parable, and the value of investing in a culture of compassion at work and why we should all lead with our hearts.
