2025 Fall Youth Shoot

*** Youth attendees must be at least 9 and under 18 years of age at the time of the event. ***

LIABILITY WAIVER REQUIRED:

If you are an adult volunteer, you must sign our liability waiver to participate in this event. In addition, all youth participants must have their parent or legal guardian sign our liability waiver. No refunds will be issued to registrants. All sales final.

This is a special 2-day event to offer youth the chance to camp, shoot, and compete.

Activities include a firearm safety class for all new shooters and the opportunity to experience archery, .22 rifle, and trap shooting for beginners, and an introduction to handguns for more experienced attendees. All firearms and ammunition provided.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to learn about our founding and how special America is in history.

Shooting sports merit badge requirements can be met during this event for BSA, Venturing, HG, 4H, etc. If you need the rifle or shotgun merit badge, don't forget to bring a blue card signed by your unit leader!

You can buy lunch on Saturday and Sunday for $5 each. Event t-shirts can be preordered for delivery at the event for $23, plus fees.

Group camping is available for the weekend at no cost. Come on out Friday and set up camp.

Youth may register to participate for $10 each. We're also looking for Adult Volunteers who may attend free.

Before the Event

• Register - All adult volunteers and youth participants should be registered in advance.
• Sign the Waiver - All adult volunteers must sign the BFA liability waiver. All youth participants must have their parent or legal guardian sign. • Order Event T-Shirt - You can order an official commemorative shirt for this event. Orders must be placed in advance to have your shirt ready at the event.

Friday

• At range entrance, receive and sign RANGE liability waiver, and all adults will receive a wristband. This is a separate, additional waiver for the Tusco Rifle Club. Please sign the BFA waiver above before you arrive.

Saturday

• 8:00 am Check In. Liability waivers required for all persons staying on the facility during the event or overnight
• 8:40 am Flag Ceremony
• 8:45 am Site Wide Safety Briefing
• 9:00 am Dismiss Participants to Program Areas
• 9:05 am New Shooters – Required Safety Class (Not required if previously attended)
• 9:15 am Firing Lines go Hot
• 1:00 pm Firing Lines go Cold / Lunch Break – $5 donation
• 2:00 pm Dismiss Participants Back to Program Areas
• 7:00 pm Firing Lines go Cold / Break for Dinner on your own
• 8:00 pm Trophy Awards Ceremony
• 8:30 pm American Heritage Program
