The Office of Sustainability proudly hosted its 2nd annual Black Climate Week! A week of sustainability-driven events celebrating the bold climate solutions & environmental justice efforts led by Black & Brown changemakers.
To celebrate Black Climate Week, the City of Newark's Office of Sustainability, Resilience, and Community Transformation will host 3 different events around Newark:
-Community Care: A Black health event (Feb. 17th)
-Movie screening & discussion of the film Taking Root: The vision of Wangari Maathai ( Feb. 19th)
-Environmental Thrifting Workshop ( Feb. 21st) |
