PRESENTATIONS

REMODELING AMERICA'S PHARMACY BENEFIT MODEL & INFRASTRUCTURE

The status quo pharmacy benefit management (PBM) business model's opaque practices are under increasingly informed attack. The rise in scrutiny is warranted, as years of pharmacy cost inflation have compounded against plan sponsors and plan members, driving costs higher than we've ever seen for America's most-accessed health benefit. Technological innovation and fundamental business alignment are needed to provide a member-centric service model and drive cost savings. The PBM model of the future has these attributes. This presentation will explain what's behind the rise in demand for next-generation PBM technology and financial alignment among plan sponsors, who are finally seeking control over their plan design and data.

CELL & GENE THERAPY

Cellular & Gene Therapies are personalized therapies that have the potential for long lasting responses and even cures. They represent a new frontier in medicine than can significantly impact the lives of both the patient as well as their families. This presentation will define cellular and gene therapies, discuss chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy, and discuss clinical benefits and potential patient impacts of cellular and gene therapies.

OBESITY PIPELINE

The trend on GLP-1s has certainly made headlines in the last year and will likely continue to do so. This presentation on existing programs and the pipeline for chronic weight management will cover the evolution on obesity medications as well as a review of what is coming in the near future. Product label updates and future updates within the pipeline as well as an overview of the EncircleRx program.

STATE OF THE HEALTHCARE INDUSTRY

Stakeholders across the healthcare industry face immense pressure to sustain and grow their business models while simultaneously navigating an environment of aggressive M&A, workforce constraints, and financial pressure. This chaotic and distracting environment makes it difficult to keep up with what really matters and separate the signal from the noise. This presentation will illuminate where decision-makers should focus their attention and unpack the biggest shifts already underway that will impact stakeholders' healthcare strategies.

EXAMINING THE FORCES AT PLAY IN HEALTHCARE

This workshop will explore the current tensions and dynamics of the health care industry through an immersive and interactive conversation guided by visualization, data, and discussion questions. Together, participants will examine the different forces at play across the health care landscape, share how their teams are grappling with them, and consider action steps each stakeholder can take.
