Wednesday, Nov. 4. | Welcome Reception


5:00–6:30 p.m.


Kick off the Original Colonies Region Meeting with an evening of conversation, connection, and camaraderie at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Wilmington Riverfront. Join fellow PVA members, industry partners, and friends—both familiar faces and new connections—as we raise a glass and officially get the region meeting underway. It’s the perfect opportunity to catch up, expand your network, and set the stage for a great few days together.



Thursday, Nov. 5 | Full-day Region Meeting


8:15 a.m.–Noon – Education sessions

Noon–1:15 p.m. – Lunch with speaker

1:15–5:00 p.m. – Education Session


Region co-chairs James Robinson of Robinson & Son, LLC and Tabor Young will kick off a full day of education, conversation, and practical insights designed to help operators navigate today’s challenges and opportunities. Topics will include:


  • The new U.S. Coast Guard tool to streamline the mariner credentialing experience


  • A panel discussion on the pros and cons of repowers, life extensions and new vessel construction


  • Insights to achieve quick wins in the realm of cybersecurity


  • An overview of PVA’s Flagship SMS program and how safety and risk management plans can help operators reduce their insurance premiums



Friday, Nov. 6 | Half-Day Region Meeting


8:00 a.m.–Noon – Education Sessions


Keep the conversation going Friday morning with a focused half-day of timely topics, peer discussion, and insights designed to help operators navigate the evolving passenger vessel industry. The morning will bring together industry experts and members for practical conversations on leadership, safety, technology, and the latest developments from Washington, D.C. Sessions will include;  


  • A roundtable discussion on managing generational change


  • A look at the advantages of remote fleet management


  • The view from Washington, D.C., on issues directly affecting the passenger vessel industry
