Karen Mora founded Payroll Vault Santa Barbara's sister company Accountability Plus in 1999 and continues to inspire her team with an energetic spirit, a steady self-confidence, and a talent for building solid relationships. Karen’s bookkeeping and payroll experience spans over 20 years, originating with services supporting commercial real estate and CPA firm clients. She has grown her business, along with her husband, OV, from a 2-person operation working out of a small apartment in Santa Barbara, to a company of 30 employees occupying a suite of offices in a contemporary La Cumbre Plaza location. Today, Accountability Plus serves over 300 bookkeeping, payroll and executive administrative service clients, including: e-commerce, non-profit, government agencies, professional offices, contractors, wineries, marine navigation, and many more.

Frank Palmieri brings a unique blend of skills, training and experience to the Payroll Vault team. He served as a financial consultant at major brokerage firms where he helped high-net-worth clients with investment and retirement planning. He also worked as a field agent for a retirement division of AIG, covering the California Central Coast. More recently, Frank interned as a tax preparer for a CPA firm, and is nearing completion of his Associate Degree in Accounting. He also sits on the advisory board for a local non-profit, Arts for Humanity.
