  • 9:00 AM - The Importance of Policy Review and the Mirrored Loan Opportunity

Michael Connell, CLU, ChFC

This course provides education and training on the concept of policy reviews when policies have loans taken out against them. Traditional thinking was that there were very few avenues for the client to improve their situation beyond finding a way to fix their existing policy. With proper policy design, there is a lot that can be done to help these clients find a new policy that better suits their needs. This course is appropriate and suggested for producers and licensed agency staff to gain a more thorough understanding of the issues around these types of policies, as well as an understanding of how policies can be structured to help the client end up in a better situation.

  • 10:00 AM - Key Employee Retention and Retirement Concepts

Dan Wilson, ChFC, CLU

Limitations on qualified plan contributions and benefits make it difficult for key employees to save enough to ensure an adequate retirement income. Benefits from qualified plans and Social Security alone can leave a sizeable gap between their income goals and actual benefits. And the more one makes, the larger the gap. Additional retirement income sources are required to help bridge this retirement income gap. Will also discuss other key employee benefits that companies can implement for their "top hat" key employees.

  • 11:00 AM - LTC Partners in planning. Are your clients prepared?

Alyssa DeLa Cruz, ChFC, ALHC, CLTC

and having a conversation around the topic with clients. We will also look at the misconceptions around long term care

and prospecting clients. Then, we will review Long term care solutions in the marketplace. Lastly, we will look at funding options into theses solutions.

  • 12:00 PM - Introduction to Life Settlements

Stuart Little, MBA

Studies show there is over $200 Billion of life insurance that is lapsed to insurance companies each year. Often times,

seniors are unaware their life insurance policies may be the largest asset they own. For over 20 years, Abacus Life has

been helping financial professionals offer life settlements to their clients, paying an average of 5x their current cash

value. Throughout this webinar, you’ll learn about the:

• Life settlement valuation process

• Client demographic

• Preferred policy types

• History of the Life Settlement Industry

• Case studies that could directly apply to your book of business

Thanks to increased pro consumer regulation, life settlements are now a mainstream financial solution. Over 90% of

seniors would have considered a life settlement, if they knew it existed. Now, more than ever, it's important to understand the real fair market value for your client's policies.
