| The purpose of this 3-day workshop is to introduce the attendees to proper documentation of impression evidence using important lighting methods as well as hand-drafted sketching techniques and 3D technology programs. Attendees will be able to discuss, report, and apply techniques to the documentation and collection of impression evidence for the process of identification to occur. Attendees will utilize advanced photographic methods using various lighting techniques and scales to demonstrate size in an effort to assist forensic lab personnel in the comparison and identification of evidence on crimes scenes to known collection standards. The attendees will be introduced to the different techniques in the collection of impression evidence through casting, gel lifters, Mikrosil and inking tires.
All attendees must bring photography equipment, tripods, and flashlights.
