2024 Senior Spring Extravaganza

Plans are underway for the 2024 Senior Spring Extravaganza!

The event will be held on Thursday, May 16, at the Richland County Fairgrounds from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (your booth setup needs to be completed by 8:45 AM). All sponsorship levels and vendors will be provided with brunch tickets, a table, and two chairs.

ACL annually leads the nation’s May observance of Older Americans Month (OAM). The theme for 2024 is Powered by Connection, which recognizes the profound impact that meaningful relationships and social connections have on our health and well-being. We will explore the vital role that connectedness plays in supporting independence and aging in place by combatting isolation, loneliness, and other issues. In celebration of Older Americans Month, we hold the annual Senior Spring Extravaganza event. This year, we will be going back to the 70s! This decade coincides with 1974 when the Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging, Inc. was established. Celebrate Older Americans and our 50th Anniversary with us!

A portion of the proceeds will support the Social Isolation fund.

Please note the additional information below:

• All vendors will need to bring their required door prizes to be given away at the vendor registration table.
• Merchandise sales are not permitted. This event is free for older adults, where only resources and giveaways are provided.
• The Area Agency on Aging reserves the right to deny any organization participation in the Senior Spring Extravaganza.
• If you are an Event, Brunch, Healthy Snack, Bingo, or Car Show sponsor, please email your logo to Elise at [email protected].
• Do not delay registering for the largest Area Agency on Aging Event of the year, which has attracted over 700 older adults in the last two years!
