The session with José Medina will focus on empowering teachers in all educational settings to leverage students' full linguistic repertoires. Via the lesson planning process, educators will unpack the importance of language learning targets, translanguaging research, and cross-linguistic work as we serve diverse student communities.
Participants will also choose from a variety of breakout sessions related to literacy instruction for multilingual learners.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided, and participants will have time to shop for professional and multilingual children's books. |
