Sensing the whole, together - goes far beyond sharing or managing knowledge. As we cross-pollinate ideas and insights, we become wiser together. We sense what is in the circle created by the poles, as Finn Voldtofte said. In a World Cafe, we harvest the tangible and the intangible, the personal and the collective. We make meaning of what is emerging, together.
Our theme for the 2024 year of Community Cafes is "Deepening our Practice”. We will be using the World Cafe Design Principles as our guiding North Star, and each month, we will deepen our inquiry into one of the design principles.
These Community Cafes give us as a global community a time to "lean in"; a time to listen to others and to speak our truth. A time to remember we are in this together. |
