In the Basic Police Sniper/Observer course, students will be introduced to basic sniper skills which include ballistics, range estimation, urban hides and much more. The skills learned will be of great value to the individual sniper, their team and department. Students will learn to engage targets, both stationary and moving. Distances will be from as little as 10 yards to over 600 yards, all from varying shooting positions. This course will be held primarily at the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Training Center; however, traveling to off-site locations will be required.


Each lead instructor has over 25 years of experience in both Police Sniper and Long Range Shooting competitions. This course is open to law enforcement officers only. All students must provide a photocopy of their police identification on the first day of the course.

The fee for this course is $900.00

**As a courtesy to our students, we have a pre negotiated special room rate at the InterContinental at Doral Miami, which is located at 2505 NW 87 Avenue, Doral, FL 33172. For reservations, please contact the hotel directly at 305-468-1400 or via email at reservations.miahc@r-hr.com and refer to the course name in order to obtain the special negotiated rate of $169.


*Please note there are a limited number of rooms reserved at the special negotiated rate. Early room reservation is highly recommended. Shuttle service to the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Training Center can be made available upon your request directly with the hotel. Notification must be made prior to your arrival to ensure availability.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Due to rising costs and expenses generated by students who register for our courses and do not attend without notification, it has become necessary to institute the following policy:

In order to qualify for a full refund, students (or their employing agencies) must cancel no less than two weeks prior to the commencement of the course. Cancellations must be received via e-mail to the attention of the course coordinator. A confirmation of receipt and a cancellation number must be obtained from the coordinator. No claims will be accepted unless the aforementioned is adhered to. Cancellations made within the two week time period are subject to a $150 fee. Substitutions of students may be made at any time. Please call us immediately if you have any questions.

NOTE: NO-SHOWS AND THOSE WHO CANCEL AFTER 3PM ON THE THURSDAY PRIOR TO THE COURSE WILL BE INVOICED THE FULL REGISTRATION FEE.
