Douglas County Extension Master Gardener 2025 Garden Tour

The 2025 Garden Tour will include six private gardens. You can visit the gardens between 10:00 am and 5 pm on Saturday, June 7, and between 11:00 am and 5 pm on Sunday, June 8. Rain or Shine! You will receive the addresses for the gardens and a map via email a couple of days before the tour. Purchase tickets and receive a map and wrist band at the Extension office on June 7th and 8th or visit any garden to start, present your receipt, and receive a wristband for entry on either or both days. Tickets are per person and good for both days.

Garden #1: 1333 New York St.

 

Garden #2: 726 Ohio St.

 

Garden #3: 621 Tennessee St.

**do not enter the Tennessee address into Google Maps – Tennessee is closed to car traffic. Instead, just walk from Garden #2 on Ohio to Garden #3 on Tennessee – it’s a short walk in a beautiful neighborhood.

 

Garden #4: 808 Alabama St.

 

Garden #5: 2719 Harvard Rd.

 

Garden #6: 618 East 1714 Rd.

                        Baldwin City, KS

Depending on which route you take leaving Lawrence, Garden #6 is about 15-20 minutes south of Lawrence. Do not miss this garden, it is well worth the drive.

 

From Garden #5: South on US 59 to the Co Rd 460 Exit. Then east on N 650 Rd, continuing thru on N 600 Rd to East 1714 Rd.

From DGCO Fairgrounds (2110 Harper St.):

South on Harper to 23rd St; then West on 23rd to Haskell Av.; then South on Haskell / Co Rd 1055 to E 1700 Rd; then South on E 1700 Rd / Co Rd 460 to N 600 Rd; then East on N 600 Rd; then turn North on East 1714 Rd.
