Trainer Course - Online Academy - February 2026

The Trainer Course prepares Trainers to apply level 4 leadership competencies and strategies to support Instructors learning to teach and evaluate Lifesaving Society programs.

The Lifesaving Society Trainer Course is designed for Trainers of any program stream.

Prerequisites:
- Application to Lifesaving Society
- Demonstrated Level 3 Competency
- 2 years teaching experience
- Current Lifesaving Society Instructor certification (any)

This online Trainer Course will include segments of self-directed learning through the Online Academy combined with live video sessions through Teams.

The dates and times of the Teams video sessions are:

- Friday February 6, 2026 - 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

- Friday February 13, 2026 - 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

- Friday February 20, 2026 - 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm

- Friday February 27, 2026 - 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm

- Sunday March 1, 2026 - 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

- Final Course Evaluations March 2-8 - by appointment

Trainers must commit to attending all video sessions.
