The Advance Behavioral Health Prevention California (ABHPC) team is excited to share our 2024 Regional Training Action Lab series! Our theme this year is Centering Community Voices. These interactive sessions will focus on prioritizing diversity in the prevention workforce and emphasizing community involvement in prevention efforts through primary prevention best practices.
The Action Lab format will provide space for networking, discussion, and active participant interaction and engagement.
Themes will include:
- Workforce development: diversifying and sustaining the prevention workforce
- Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belongingness (DEIB) and Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI)
- Health Equity
- Community-based Strategies
- Coalition Best Practices
- Strategic Prevention Framework: opportunities and strategies to highlight community voices
