You can never know too much about the weather and how to interpret forecasts. Recent years have witnessed an enormous increase in the power of super computers, the explosive growth of the Internet, the rapid expansion of satellite communications, and the pervasive use of smart phones.

Consequently, the ways in which professional weather forecasts are produced and disseminated have changed dramatically.

This seminar covers these topics in the same manner as Chapter 8 Part 1 – Professional Forecasting – of the full 2021 Weather Course. The seminar is an excellent first exposure to the topic or a great refresher for those who have already taken the full weather course.

This is complimentary to the Weather for Boaters seminar BUT not the same seminar.

This is one evening seminar. Our small session format allows for informal dialogue and excellent Q&A. Our instructor team has the experience and flexibility to tailor the seminar to the needs of attendees.
