High Performance Forage Workshop

The Canadian Forage and Grassland Association is hosting a three-day intensive forage workshop focusing on seed selection, multi-species forage establishment, quality improvement, and harvest/storage optimization.

Led by Dr. Dan Undersander, with support from local experts, this hybrid event is designed to help agronomists and technical teams enhance their knowledge of forage performance, to better support producers across Canada. The workshop will be held in Winnipeg, Manitoba, with a virtual attendance option. Continuing education units will be available for in-person attendees.

Attendees will be walked through a comprehensive agenda over three days. Breakout discussions and activities will allow for theoretical knowledge application for attendees' respective contexts.


In-person registration includes: attendance to the full workshop, workshop materials, catered breaks, and lunch on Day 2. Credits will be available with this registration.


Virtual registration includes online access to workshop presentations (live) and workshop materials. Virtual attendees will not be able to participate in discussions and activities. Credits not available with this registration. French translation is available.
