A Practical Guide for Practical Life in Elementary with Susan Andree on February 28th 9 am to 12 pm

Practical life is a hallmark of a Montessori classroom. Students engage in activities that support the development of the whole child. This ranges from practicing conflict resolution to weaving fabric. In this hands-on, active workshop you will learn and practice activities you can take directly into your classroom. In addition, participants will explore how to connect practical life with other areas of the classroom. Increase your knowledge, raise your confidence, and have fun!

About the Instructor:

Susan Andree has over 20 years of experience as a guide in Montessori classrooms. She has taught in both adolescent and elementary environments. Susan enjoys bringing her passion for fiber arts into the classroom. She has experience with spinning, weaving, felting, crocheting, and more. Susan has also participated in multiple JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) trainings. She regularly reflects on her practice and seeks opportunities to increase her understanding and learn new things.
