Thinking Differently about behaviour in children and adults with an intellectual disability.
During this talk, Hayley will introduce The Behaviour Checklist, a clinical checklist of common causes of behaviours that challenge, which has been co-designed by parent carers, academics and clinicians. Hayley will share the underpinning research behind the checklist, describe the development process, and share preliminary findings on the feasibility and acceptability of its use in NHS paediatric clinic services. |
