WTS Charlotte Metro Chapter Lunch and Learn with Town of Huntersville

In continuing the successful start to our programs for 2024, the WTS Charlotte Metro Chapter is pleased to host Lora Mastrofrancesco, PE, Project Coordinator for the Town of Huntersville and Heather Maloney, Principal Transportation Planner for the Town of Huntersville on Tuesday, April 23, 2024! The event features a joint presentation from Lora Mastrofrancesco and Heather Maloney about the Town of Huntersville Mobility Plan and the Huntersville Main Street project.

Our friends at Bolton & Menk will be hosting our event at their Camp North End office. Free parking will be available on site and more details will be provided to registrants prior to the event. Registration and networking will begin at 11:30am with the lunch program running from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Lunch will be provided with registration.

 

Engineers attending this program could earn 1.0 Professional Development Hours. WTS Charlotte Metro is working with APA to qualify this activity for Certification Maintenance (CM) credit. More information about ACIP's CM program can be found at www.planning.org/cm

Transportation Engineer – Project Manager

 

Lora Mastrofrancesco, PE is a Project Coordinator for the Town of Huntersville, where she is working on the Town's Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects from initial project assignment to completion; according to Federal and State regulations, Town Standards, project schedules and adopted budgets.

Heather Maloney

Principal Transportation Planner

 

Heather Maloney is a Principal Transportation Planner for the Town of Huntersville. She holds a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of California, Irvine, and a Master of Public Health from East Carolina University. This interdisciplinary background informs her approach to transportation planning with the understanding that including pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure in broader transportation planning and engineering projects is necessary to creating safer, healthier, and more vibrant communities. When she is not planning for better active transportation choices, you can find Heather riding her bikes wherever, whenever she can!
