The 2-Day Intensive Section 504 Legal Workshop is divided into two parts, each spanning one instructional day. On Day 1, participants will learn about the requirements of the law and how it fits in with the IDEA and other disability laws. Day 2 of the workshop focuses exclusively on the 504 meeting process and developing legally-defensible Section 504 plans. This is a critical training for school staff members responsible for identifying potential disabilities, conducting Section 504 meetings, drafting Section 504 plans, determining when nursing services are required, implementing 504 plans. |
