This intensive fast-paced 3-day course, was designed specifically for Female Law Enforcement Officers. The students’ mental, and mechanical skills will be challenged daily under stress. A certain level of physical readiness and proper hydration is required. Students will develop a thorough basic understanding of the physiological and psychological principles of shooting.


This course will provide the students with information and training in the following areas:

  • Basic Principles of Shooting Under Physical Stress 
  • Psychological Aspects of Shooting While Under Stress 
  • Physical Symptoms of Stress 
  • Fight or Flight


Required Equipment:

  • Full Duty Belt with Duty Weapon 
  • 3 magazines
  • Full Body Armor 
  • Rifle/Carbine (if Applicable) with magazines


The fee for this course is $790

*Please note there are a limited amount of rooms reserved at the special negotiated rate. Early room reservation is highly recommended. Shuttle service to the Miami-Dade Public Safety Training Institute can be made available upon your request directly with the hotel. Notification must be made prior to your arrival to ensure availability.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Due to rising costs and expenses generated by students who register for our courses and do not attend without notification, it has become necessary to institute the following policy:

In order to qualify for a full refund, students (or their employing agencies) must cancel no less than two weeks prior to the commencement of the course. Cancellations must be received via e-mail to the attention of the course coordinator. A confirmation of receipt and a cancellation number must be obtained from the coordinator. No claims will be accepted unless the aforementioned is adhered to. Cancellations made within the two week time period are subject to a $150 fee. Substitutions of students may be made at any time. Please call us immediately if you have any questions.

NOTE: NO-SHOWS (INCLUDING THOSE WHO CANCEL AFTER 3PM ON THE THURSDAY PRECEDING THE COURSE) WILL BE INVOICED THE FULL REGISTRATION FEE.
