Clean Grid Alliance (CGA) is hosting a free, public Wind 101 event in Storden on July 27, from 5:30 - 7:30 pm CT. Dinner provided. At the event, Matt Boor, a wind energy expert will give presentations on wind energy, how it works, and community benefits. A County Commissioner and a farmer will share their experience with wind energy and what locals should know. There will be plenty of time for discussion and Q&A.
Wind energy is a very important part of our regional power grid and continues to present a great opportunity for Minnesota through its tax revenue, jobs, and local economic stimulus. |
