Implementing Complete Streets at the Local Level

Successful implementation of Complete Streets requires a focus on context and the unique needs of the community. This interactive workshop will feature an overview of Complete Streets, highlighting their multiple benefits and providing customizable policy templates as well as information about the many resources and funding opportunities available.

This workshop is a collaborative effort by the South Jersey Transportation Planning Organization (SJTPO), the Alan M. Voorhees Transportation Center at Rutgers University, Sustainable Jersey and Cross County Connection Transportation Management Association (CCCTMA). Lunch is not included in the registration; however, attendees will be provided a break to eat lunch on their own.


Workshop Schedule


This workshop is split into two sessions. Participants can attend one or both sessions depending on their interests.


10am – Noon    Crafting an Effective Complete Streets Policy


Noon – 1pm      Lunch on your own


1pm – 3pm    Design, Funding and Implementation of Complete Streets
