With the kind collaboration of the Irish National Opera, SDEMS will screen an innovative 2017 production of Handel’s English- language mini-opera "Acis and Galatea." The event will be hosted by William Propp of SDEMS and will feature guest speaker Dr. Denise Demetriou, the Gerry and Jeannie Ranglas Professor of Ancient Greek History at UCSD.
The screening will be followed by discussion and refreshments.
