2026 America 250: The Economic Thought of the Founders

The America250 Teacher Workshop will provide tools to develop classroom ready curricula that blend history, civics, and economics based on America’s founding and economic principles.

Keynote Speaker:
-Wilfred McClay, author of Land of Hope: An Invitation to the Great American Story

Speakers:
-Dr. Scott Niederjohn, Concordia University Wisconsin
-Dr. Mark Schug, University Wisconsin- Milwaukee
-Dr. Marcus Witcher, West Virginia University

Attendees will receive:

  • Hotel accommodations at Tundra Lodge Resort June 10 - 11
  • $300 travel stipend
  • Breakfast and lunch during the workshop


HOTEL BOOKING INSTRUCTIONS 

To reserve a room under the "Concordia" block, please call the reservations desk at 1-877-886-3725. Phone reservations are required to receive the discounted rate and be included in the block. The deadline for calling is May 4th, after which unreserved rooms will be released. Late reservations may be accepted if available. When calling, mention the "Concordia" block and provide your credit card details, name, address, phone number, and email. Your credit card will only be charged for incidentals; Concordia will pay for your room provided you attend the full workshop.
