Becky's Garden (Garden #1)

I have a little 1/5 acre lot that I started converting a year and a half ago. Front yard is almost completely full sun and formerly 100% grass with nandina and clover. Backyard is almost full shade and formerly 95% privet, winter creeper, and vinca.

I now have around 100 species of native plants but still have a long way to go in terms of coverage! I can’t wait to show folks and get some ideas, especially for the backyard.

Jonathan's Garden (Garden #2)

Our home is located on .63 acres. We've lived here since 2022 and have removed countless invasives and added hundreds of native plants. Our biggest project has been a woodland meadow planted in 2024 with over 500 plugs; including penstemon, columbine, echinacea, rudbeckia, and many more.

Another large project we've taken on is a micro prairie that is still in its infancy. I am growing it mostly from seed, and it includes many species including liatris, asters, asclepias, boneset, and many others. I have also seeded the prairie this past winter with native annuals which should be starting to bloom by July.
