Thank you for your interest in assisting with the upcoming 2025 FIPS Mouche World Fly Fishing Championships for Youth and Women. It is expected that 16-20 international teams will be coming to Idaho Falls where we are hosting the event. Countries from all over the world will attend and it is an opportunity to be a part of a Fly Fishing World Championship event. We cannot host this event without support from volunteers like you. Volunteers are needed for a variety of activities. Almost anyone can help in some way regardless of your abilities whether you are a fly fisher, love the outdoors, know a foreign language, or just like to be a part of something fun and rewarding. The official dates for the championship is are July 12-19, 2025.

Types of Volunteer Opportunities

Controller/Observer

July 14 -18th - Monitor anglers as they fish, ensure they follow the rules for angling, measure and record the fish caught. Controllers will be trained. Some controllers will be needed to be on boats with anglers either rowing, or running the motor boat. Other controllers will be on rivers, with some being very easy and others being more strenuous in the level of effort.

Opening Day Ceremonies

July 12th - Assist with angler registration. Assist with organizing the teams for the opening ceremonies. It would be great to have persons with some foreign language skills from countries that participate. There is a need for young people to carry the country banners as we march from the river over to the Museum of Idaho.

Venue Volunteers

July 14-18th - Staff the canopy setup at each venue that supports the anglers and volunteers for the event.

Social Media savvy Volunteers

We need persons at each venue and at the hotel who are interested in creating content that can be shared to our social media feeds.

Other Volunteers

We have other needs as well. Helping to organize other volunteers, helping to setup daily content in the host hotel, organizing lunches.

"As the international organizer for the 2025 Womens and Youth FIPS Mouche Fly Fishing World Championships it is my pleasure to invite you to join us as we compete in the shadows of Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. This region is considered to be the Golden Triangle of Fly Fishing as we fish waters in Montana, Wyoming and Idaho. I look forward to welcoming you to our team where we will showcase a thousand km of fly fishing opportunities within hours of our host city."
